West & Central Africa

Phil & Kitty McMillen (Retired)

Phil and Kitty McMillen have served as missionaries with ABWE since 1981 in several capacities, both here and abroad. Phil grew up as the son of missionaries serving in the Central Africa Republic, so he was well equipped to serve. From 2010-2016, he served as Regional Administrator for West and Central Africa. At the beginning of 2017 their ministry shifted to the area of leadership training for Africa ministries. Besides leadership training upgrades for their region, they worked to develop the aviation program and started a ministry in Benin. They are currently serving in a limited capacity in their retirement years.

Michael and Claire served in the Republic of Congo at the Pioneer Christian Hospital and are currently seeking God’s direction for their next overseas ministry while raising additional needed support from their home in Perry, NY.
